Parveen’s birth place was the Okanagan Valley, British Columbia, Canada. Before she was born, her parents moved to Canada from Mumbai, Maharashtra, India. She moved to Toronto at the age of 18.
Career
Kaur’s acting career was only pursued in her 20s after leaving high school early. In 2015, Kaur played her first recurring role in the horror drama series The Strain, directed by Guillermo del Toro. In the same year, she was cast as Doctor Asha Mirani in the Canadian supernatural medical drama television series Saving Hope. Kaur played the lead role in Through Black Spruce, which premiered at the 2018 Toronto International Film Festival in 2018. From 2018 to 2023, Kaur played Saanvi’s main role for 4 seasons (62 episodes) of Manifest.
The 6th annual Mosaic International South Asian Film Festival in Mississauga, Ontario saw Kaur receive the 2017 MISAF Star award from ACTRA.
Personal Life
Unfortunately, the artist’s fan will only be able to see most of her relationship buildup on-screen with Ben Stone in the show Manifest. Additionally, she has chosen to keep her personal life private and out of the public eye. She seems to be mainly focused on building her acting career at the moment.
In an interview in 2017, she stressed how important it is to stay focused on the goal when asked about tips for developing an acting career. While she is achieving success, she doesn’t seem to prioritize marrying the husband of her dreams.
